Optometrists

What is an Optometrist? Also known as doctors of optometry, or ODs, Optometrists provide primary vision care. They examine patients eyes to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases (Glaucoma, etc. ), and they test patients’ visual acuity, depth and color perception, and ability to coordinate and focus the eyes. Optometrists prescribe contact lenses and eyeglasses and provide vision treatment plans.
